What is interaction design?

We’re interacting with stuff all the time

We’re aware of some interactions more than others.

Utilising skills either genetically programmed or learnt early on.

Keys in a lock we’ve been doing since toddlers sorting shapes.

Some are designed to warn us.

Some are designed to protect us. Like Passwords.

It's a visual communication.

That indicates where you are, how far you’ve come.

It’s aim is to guide, demystify and simplify the processes involved in our everyday lives.

From the way we consume data

To the way we interact with our environment

By “we” we're including others less savvy.

Or those with physical or mental disabilities.

Making our reach further and more effective.

Design for the young and you exclude the old. Design for the old and include everyone.
