Work Incredible Girls Competition 2019

Incredible Girls Competition 2019

Sep 2019 | YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP

A YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP competition featured in Porter magazine, challenged student girls to create a fashion App concept. With over 150 entrants world wide from Asia to the US. The first prize was £1000 credit at NET-A-PORTER with a personal shopper, mentoring in running an Ecommerce business and their design concept developed into a prototype.

The winning concept was a thrift clothing App called Ecologié© by Savannah Bradley a 19-year-old LGBTQ writer. Ecologié is an App which not only connects ecological conscious shoppers to local thrift stores, but also offers tips and skills to maintaining or altering clothing. A community section advertises events with an ecological and fashion focus, like clothing drives. Plus there’s an option to make a donation to a charity of your choice with each purchase made through the App. All this is personalised up front with a series of questions asking size credentials, favourite designers and charity of choice.

Working as Art Director with designer Lamine Drame, we worked Savannah’s original concept into a production ready product. All entrants were sent a bag and badge for participating.
